It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Eunice Marigu Wilfred (Miricu) from Kathugu village, Mukuria Sub-location, Ruguru Location, Embu North Sub-county.

Wife of Wilfred Nguru Kioi (Miricu). Daughter of Johana M’miu (Ndogo) and Jane Wangai (Mwambitika). Loving mother of Alice Wambeti Kamau, John Kioi Njue, Anderson Kioi (Maji Hse Nrb), Sammy Wamirichu Mugo (S/sgt cipu Kiritiri), Retired Chief Justin Njeru, Simon Mucangi and Irene Wawira, Mother-in-law of Kamau Karanja, Mary Njue, Margaret Njagi, Dorothy Mugo, Alison Njeru, Wincate Muchangi. Sister of the late Samuel Mugo, the late Susan Bedan Nguu, Joseph Murithi and Harriet Njiru. Grandmother of Mugendi, the late Karanja, Njoki, Muthoni, Pius, Mukami, Wangari, Karithi, Eunice, the late Alice, Phineus, Kendi, Gikundi, Gatuiri, Kagame, Mwenda, Nyawira, Kiama, Jack, Lata Mugambii Mutugi and Njue, Great-grandmother of Kamau, Chris, Kathomi, Natalia, Natasha, Muthoni, Grace, Moreen. Njue, Taji, Makena, Maloney and Ngumo.

Friends and family are meeting daily at her home in Kathugu Village and at Eden Rock Hotel, adjacent to County Medical Centre, Embu.

The cortege leaves Gakwegori funeral home Embu on 20/09/2019 from 8.00am for funeral service at St. James ACK, Kenga Church, near Kiriari Market and thereafter burial will take place at her home in Kathugu Village, Mukuria Sub-location Ruguru Location, Embu North Sub-county.
