Evangelist, Mr. James Mbichi Muguna lturuchiu

With humble acceptance of God’s will, we announce the promotion to the heavenly glory of Evangelist, Mr. James Mbichi Muguna lturuchiu of Meru Variety Stores, on 12th October, 2017 while undergoing treatment in Coptic Hospital in Nairobi, following a sudden sickness.

Son of the late Mr. Mbeteru Ituruchiu and Mrs. Esther Wanjiru Ituruchiu. Son-in-law of the late Mr. Micheck Kaithiga and Mrs. Charity Kaithiga. Husband of Joyce Makandi Mbichi and father of Samuel Mwongera (a businessman in Meru town), Esther Nkatha (a business lady in Meru town), Harriet Mwenda (a business lady in Makutano township of Meru town), John Muthee (a businessman in Makutano township of Meru town), Phineas Mutwiri (a businessman in Meru town), Nicholas Muriuki (a businessman in Meru town) and Rev. John Kigunda (Chaplain, Njia Cluster), and father-in-law of Purity Sammy, Solomon Kithinji, Harrison Mwenda, Lucy John, Kanyiri Mutwiri, Fides Muriuki and Nancy Kigunda. He was brother of Justus Muriuki, Harriet Muthoni, late Beatrice Meme, Kaaria lturuchiu, Kajumbe Ituruchiu, Munene Ituruchiu and Salome lturuchiu. He was grandfather of Nkirote, Tasha, Mwenda, Risper, Mutethia, Ronny, Kendi, Eric, Kanana, M endwa, Kephas, Kimathi, Murithi, Stacey and Munene.

Meetings for burial arrangements are taking place at the late James Mbichi’s home in Milimani, of Kinoru area, near Milimani Maternity and Nursing Home, within Meru County, and in Royal Prince Hotel, Meru town from 5:00 p.m. daily. The burial will be on Thursday, 19th October, 2017.The burial service will be conducted in M.C.K., All Saints’ Kinoru, next to Kinoru stadium within Meru County. The body will thereafter be laid to rest at his Milimani home.
