Evans Kasavubu Jaramba (Ja Congo)

The Okello’s family is saddened to announce the untimely demise of Evans Kasavubu Jaramba (Ja Congo) which occurred on 19th May 2019 through a tragic road accident.

Son of the late Migosi N.M Okello and the late Mama Jane Orieny Nyar Agwambo. Husband of Florence Achieng Nyol (Italy). Father of Peter Wallace Amollo (Denmark) and Nelly Janet Owira (Italy). Brother of the late Peter Amollo, the late Shem Nason Bunde, Atieno Milly Kibb (Italy), the late Akai, Okello Nyakwar Jaramba (Nairobi) and the late Hesbon Kola. Brother-in-law of Thamasis Odumbe (Treasury), the late Millicent Adhiambo, Eric Onyango, Beatrice Kadenge, Milkah Akumu, Nancy Akinyi, the late Dancun Omondi, Juliet Litunya, Isaiah Otieno and Emma Nyol. Uncle of Kokila Tisiana, Beatrice Achieng’, Okumu Tot Lenin, Kwame Okello, the late Aguena Okello, Afrika Okello, Olenyo Onani, among others.

Grandfather of Buju Lilian and Lenin Odhiambo and great-grandfather of Nelly Onditi, Washington Onditi, Sally Onditi and Elsa Onditi. Father-in-law of Stephen Onditi. His paternal uncles are Stephano Anyango, Joseph Oyucho and Hezron Jauga Jaramba (Lumumba) (all late). His Aunties were Dinah Ongonde of Bunda Tanganyika, Mary Nyawir (Kisumo Korando), Grace Oluoch (Kobura Kano Masogo) (all late) and Agneta Oyaro Nyawile (Asembo Nyagoko). His maternal uncles (Nerene) are Obuya Agwambo, Oyindo Agwambo and Abong’o Agwambo (all late).The sisters of his mother are Peris Owino (Kano Koluwa), Nelly Janet Owira (Uyoma Kobudha) and Monica Achieng (Asembo Oyude).

The cortege leaves Night Gale Milimani Kisumu on 07/06/2019 at noon for the overnight stay at his home followed by the burial on 08/06/2019 at 9:00am presided over by ACK Diemo Parish.
