It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Evans Kisiang’ani Wanyonyi which occurred on 25th December, 2020, at Life Care Hospital in Bungoma.

His body lies at the same Hospital Mortuary. He was a retired Deputy Police Commander, Bungoma County.

Son of the late Mzee Enock Wanyonyi Kisiang’ani (Omukimweyi )and the late Mama Sarah (Anieli) Nanyama (Omubulo).

Husband of the late Rose Makinia, the late Jane Nafula and Martha Ngutuku.

Father of Joshua Sabuni, Tony Wanyonyi, Faith Naliaka, Philip Wanyonyi, Jose Wanyonyi, Naomi Nanjala, Enock Wanyonyi, Shantel Wanyonyi and Jayce Luis.

Brother of Arch. James Simiyu Wanyonyi, the late Salome Nekesa, Jane Wanjala, the late John, the late Wanjala, the late Patrick Make, ElIcall Namubuya, the late twins and Kennedy Khisa (KPLC), Keziah Nyongesa, Khadija Hatibu, the late Nabututu,the late Joseph Lusweti, the late Samson Wafula, the late Dr. Peter Kisiang’ani, Melab Walela, the late Eliud Wanjala, the late Grace Nanjekho, Martin Kisiang’ani, Dr. David Khatere, Nathan Barasa, Solomon Rocha, Edward Kisiang’ani, Samson Wafula (Forum), Dr. Samuel Sabuni and Rachael Namikoye.

Son-in-law of Samson Wachie, the late Paul Wanjala and Samuel Ngutuku. Father-in-law of Truphena Rotich. Grandfather of four (4) children. Nephew to Eng. Wasioya Buge, Prof. Edward Mamati (JKUAT) among others.

Cousin to Ralson Kisuya (Ministry of Foreign Affairs) among others. Uncle to many.

Family and friends are meeting daily at his home in Namawanga Village and in Nairobi for funeral arrangements.

There will be a mini-harambe at Nairobi Railways Club (Pool side area) on Tuesday (Today) from 5.00pm.

The cortege will leave Life Care Hospital Mortuary Bungoma, on Friday 8th January, 2021, at 2.00 pm for his home.

Burial takes place on Saturday 9th January, 2021 starting at 9.00am, in Namawanga Village.
