Evelyn Mwende Mwendwa

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Evelyn Mwende Mwendwa, who went to be with the Lord on 07/06/2019.

Daughter of the late Moses Kiva and the late Viata Nguvi. Daughter-in-law of the late Elijah Nguta Ilimba and the late Esther Wamusyi. Beloved wife of the late Paul Mwendwa Ng’uta. A dear mother of Joan Kalimi, Susan Mutongoi, Sally Mwikali, Yvonne Nzunga (Triple T Immigration), Ashly Kasungwa (Kitui County Assembly), Christine Syokau and Ancent Mwendwa (KEWI). Sister of Christine Mukuni, Regina Kitula, Nelly Kiva (K.U), the late Jennifer Syanda, Esther Ngari (Kiamiciri Primary), Eng. Isaac Kiva (Min of Energy), The late Daniel, Judith Kiva (K.U) and Elijah Kiva (Freight in Time).

Sister-in-law of the late Armstrong Mulyungi, Morris Kiilu, Mutua Ng’uta,Winfred Mukai, Boniface Mukuni, Prof. Geoffrey K. King’ei (K.U), late Josphat Syanda, David Ngari (Kutus Primary), Josphine Nzue, Prof. Michael Gicheru ( K.U) and Priscilla Sila (KPLC). Mother-in-law of Robert Wambua, Patrick Kang’ethe and John Kilonzo. She was a grandmother of Mwangi, Joy, Scholar, Eunice, Mbugua, Blesslyn, Treasure, Ryan, Mary, Faith, Law and Eliana.

Funeral meetings are being are being held at The Holy Family Basilica from today, Monday 10th to Thursday 13th starting at 6pm.

Burial shall be on Saturday, June 15, at her rural home, in Kavwata, Kabati, Kitui County.
