Ex. Cllr Paul Irichu Muchege Nchengu Wakangai “Mwenje”

It is with deep sorrow and acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of Ex. Councillor Paul Irichu Muchege Nchengu Wakangai “Mwenje” which occurred on 8/1/2018 at Chuka Referral Hostipal after a long battle with illness.

Husband of Juliana Kagondu lrichu and Grace Gaku lrichu. Son of the late Muchege Nchengu and Ciasonga Kangai. Son-in-law of the late M’Kathenya and Kibaara Mutuanjau. Brother of the late Muthengi Muchege, Late Ntiro Mwathi, Kaburi Mutea, Karigu Gitiiro, Thaddeus Nyaga, Ezekiel Murige and the late Murage Muchege. Father of Munda, Kanyua, Muriungi, Margeret, Njeru,  Mugambi, Nyaga, the late Kambura, Murithi, the late Njagi, Kimathi, Kagendo, Kinoti Karimi and Mutegi.

Father-in-law of Muuru, the late Iguna, Karimi, Sabina, Mukami, Gacheri, Njeru, Murithi and Kamunda. Uncle of Kangaria, Muthee, Gitonga, Mukundi, Mbabu, Kinyua, Gatumi, Kiriana, Kabuura, Mutiria among others. Grandfather of Karani, Mukundi, Jackline, Makena, Kendi, Mutongoria, Munene, Colleta, Kathambi,Wanjiku, Muthomi, Mwiti Sadra, Gatwiri among others.

The cortege is at Chuka Referral Hospital Mortuary. He will be laid to rest at his home in Karou village Nkondi Sub Location, Nkondi Ward, Tharaka Nithi County on Friday 19 January 2018.
