Ezra Lemmy Githagui Waiyaki (Guka Honey)

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of Ezra Lemmy Githagui Waiyaki (Guka Honey), of Muthiga, Kinoo Location, Kiambu County on 22/12/2020 after a short illness.

Son of the late Watson Waiyaki Githagui and the late Jane Wangari Waiyaki.

Brother to Grace Wanjiku, the late Wiliam Njoroge, Miriam Wathoni, Rev. Margaret Wambui, Peter Wamagata, Jedida Gaciku, the late David Kuria, Ben Githieya, the late Gad Mwaura and the late Faith Rose Nduta.

Husband to Esther Wambui, the late Sarah Wanjiru, and the late Florence Waringa.

Father to JaneMary Wangari, Jackline Wangui, Doreen Ndorio, Watson Waiyaki, LynnJane Wangari, AnnJoy Nyokabi and Linda Wangari.

Father in law to Raphael Karuga, Dr Khan, Wesley Maru, Mercy Wanjiku and Dennis Kung’u.

He was Grandfather to Dellon Githagui, Naima Wanjiru, Natali Khan, Asa Khan, the late Zara Khan, Zayan Maru, Zaraya Maru, Zhena Maru, Trizbeth Natasha, Ted Githagui, Telvin Njenga, Tribby Waniiru, Aaron Githagui, Ela Wanjiru, Dana Wanjiku and Avel Kungu. He was a cousin, brother in law, uncle and friend to many.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily at his Muthiga Gichecheni home for prayers and funeral arrangements.

The cortege leaves Montezuma funeral home (Mbagathi Way) on Tuesday 29/12/20 at 9.30am for a funeral service and burial thereafter at his home in Muthiga.
