Daughter of the late Christopher and Sakini Okata. Daughter-in-law of the late Mwinami and Opuka. Wife of the late Amos Omuyonga. Doting mother of Daniel Mwinami Omuyonga, the late Raphael Ochieng, the late Everlyne Asiko, the late Philip Shiraku and Hellen Owano. Mother-in-law of Agnetta Mwinami, the late Meshack Okaka and Rebecca Shiraku. Grandmother of Lydia Ayako, Humphrey and Agnes, Waka, Edwin and Rael, Vincent, Joy and George, Frankline and Jackline, Caroline and Moses, Judy and Barrack, Rodgers, Bilhah and William, Beatrice and Raphael, Wycliffe and Lorna, Esther and Godfrey, Emily, Peter and the late Christine, Sylvia, Jackson and Joyce, Maureen and Valentine, Kevin and Lucy, Jedidah, Lynah and Alpha. Great Grandmother of many.

Friends and family are meeting daily at her home in Mukhombe village.

Funeral service and burial will be on 20th October 2018 at Khumusalaba, Mushiangubu sublocation, Mulwanda location, Kakamega county.
