Felinanda Wanjeri Muriuki

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the demise of Mrs. Felinanda Wanjeri Muriuki which occurred on 17th October 2017 after a short illness. She hails from Gitangaruri, Itundu Village, Iriani Location, Mathira East District.

Felinanda was beloved wife of the late Geoffrey Muriuki Wang’ombe, Daughter of the late Matimu Ngacha and the late Mary Wambui Matimu. Loving mother of Julia Nderitu, Mary Kamwana, George Karingithi, Ann Mwangi, Regina Muriuki, Patrick Wangombe, Joseph Matimu, Paul Githae, Andrew Ngacha and Priscilla Gathigia. Sister of the Late Jack Kinyua,Wangui Kamaru, Gathigia Kaburia, late Hiuhu Matimu, and step sister ofWanjiru Mureithi, Gakuhi Ngacha, Githinji Matimu and Shelmith Njeru. Mother-in law to Peter Nderitu, Alex Kamwana Gikandi, Daniel Mwangi, Patricia Muthoni, Mary Mumbi, Martha Mumbi, Edith Wamuyu and Simon Githinji. Felinanda was loving grandmother, great grandmother, cousin and aunty to many.

Family and friends are meeting at The Holy family Basilica and her home in Gitangaruri on 19th and 23rd October, 2017 from 5.30pm for prayers and funeral arrangements. The cortege leaves Nyeri Funeral Home, Outspan Hospital on Tuesday, 24th October, 2017 at 8.00am. The funeral service and burial will be held at her home in Itundu Village at 11.00am.
