Felista Okoko

February 1940 – May 2020

The transition of Felista Okoko occurred on 02.05.2020 after a stoic and gallant walk with age-related illness.

Loving wife of 62 years of Cleofas Okoko. Loving and dedicated mum of Alfred, the late Leonard, Lucy, the late Vincent (Bashir), Steve, Alice, Rosemary, Chris, Cyril and Mike. Mother-in-law of Rhoda, Lena, Pauline, the late Ayodo, Warda, Seth, the late Joab, Irene and Penny. Daughter of the late Mr. and late Mrs. Okere. Dear sister of the late Ndiga, Dr. Okere, Onyona, Mboss, Prof. Okere, Onyango, the late Mrs. Ojwang, Patricia and the late Maurice. Sister-in-law of Mrs. Olalo, Muhando among many others. Grandmother, Great Grandmother and Aunt of many.

A celebration of life mass will be held later. Burial shall take place at her home Kayombi, Ambira in Ugunja, Siaya County.

May the Almighty God grant her eternal rest and peace.
