Florence Mokeira Ondari (Queen)

It is with deep shock we announce the death of Florence Mokeira Ondari which occurred at the Kenyatta National Hospital on the 28th July 2019 after an 8-year battle with cancer.

She was the wife of the late Samuel Ondari Obare. Daughter of the late Paul Nyansera and Robinah Moraa. Daughter-in-law of the late Boniface Obare, the late Ceremencia the late Nyaboke, the late Nyachaki, Nyanchama, the late Matoke. Mother of Timothy (Riabagaka Primary School), Everline, Philace, Cyrus (County Government of. Kakamega)/University of Nairobi and Amos (Standard M).

Mother-in-law of Sarah, Nyarienga, Celestine, Wekesa and Mary. Grandmother of Obare’s, Whitney, Christabel, Solomon, Willy, Raphael, Winnie, Ondaris, Daniel and Whims.

Sister of the late Charles, Sabinas, Pascalia, Gichana, the late Lucia, Christine and the late Josephine, Nyabokes, the late Lazarus, the late Nicholas, Benedict, Richard, Nyamweya, Kabeta, Nyachuria, Ongori, Alexina, Kwamboka, the late Agness and Marcella.

In-law of Onkangi, the late Orangi, & the late Mang’aa, Musa and Ontegi.

Family and friends are meeting Everyday at Garden Square for the funeral arrangements and will have a funds drive on Tuesday 6th August 2019 at Professional Centre starting 4m. The cortege leaves Kenyatta National Hospital Mortuary on 8th August 2019 for burial at Nyapara her home in Nyapara four Village, Gachuba ward, Kitutu Masaba Sub- County, Nyamira County on 9th August 2019.
