Fr. Joy Kalaparambath CMI

The Carmelites of Mary Immaculate fathers (CMI) sadly announce the death of Fr. Joy Kalaparambath CMI which occurred in India on the afternoon of 2Ist June 2018.

Fr Joy was ordained a priest on 23rd March 1972; having worked in Sagar (India) for 10 years, he came to Africa on 12th December 1984 and worked as a missionary among the people of Machakos Catholic Diocese as an assistant parish priest in Mbiuni Catholic Mission and as Parish Priest in Ngunga Catholic Mission from 22nd April 1991 later, also in Donyo Sabuk Catholic Mission till December 2017 when he fell sick.

Father Joy will be buried today at Ampazhakad, India.

A requim mass will be celebrated in Memory of Fr. Joy on 16th July 2018 at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church Donyo Sabuk.
