Francis Austin Njiri

We, the Njiri family celebrate the life of Francis Austin Njiri who passed away on Sunday the 3rd of February 2019 after a long illness bravely borne.

Son of the late Patrick Githaiga Njiri and Nancy Wambui Githaiga. Son-in-law to Wilson and Jemimah M’Reli. Beloved husband of Lois Mukwaiti Njiri. Loving father of late Ken, Angela Wambui, Andrew Gitonga, Patrick Githaiga, Barbara Gathoni and Richard Njogu. Father-in-law to Rachel Gitonga, Daphne Njiri, Henry Mutuku and Mary Njogu. Grandfather of Yvonne, Anthony, Patrick, Sean, Kylie, Leeroy, Talia, Githinji, Ethan, Eli, and Ella-Rose. Brother of Agnes and the late Michael Muita, Edith Muchiru, Pauline and Anthony Mathenge, late Wacuka, Christopher and Molly Njogu, Joseph and Janet Mugo, late Eric and Irene Migwi, Njeri and late James Kingori, Oscar and Dominique Mundia, and John and Lois Mathenge. Brother in-law to Peris and late Kiburi, Esther, Eustace, Gerald, Eliud and Lydia Gitari and Daniel and Sarah M’Reli.

Meetings are being held at the All Saints Cathedral from 5.30pm.

A requiem Mass will be celebrated at the Holy Family Basilica on Friday the 8th of February at 2pm.

The cortege leaves Lee Funeral Home on Monday 11th February at 6am for funeral Mass at St. Anthony Padua Gathaithi Catholic Church at 11.00am, and thereafter he will be laid to rest at his farm in Kiaruhiu, Mathira, Nyeri County.
