Francis Maina Mugo

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Francis Maina Mugo, which happened on 3rd December, 2019. He hailed from Ihwagi Village. Mathira East Division, Nyeri County.

Husband of Lucy Njeri Maina. Father of Catherine Wairimu, Kelvin Mugo and Ian Ndirangu. Son of William Mugo Ngonina and the late Teresa Njoki Mugo. Son-in-law of David Githikiro Njiri and Naomi Njoki Githikiro of Boro village, Kinyona, Muranga County. Brother of Stephen Murage, the late Rev Father Augustine Murilthi, Joseph Wachira, Jeniffer Wanjiru Ngure, Peter Kabiru, Anne Muthoni Ndungu, Lucy Njeri Wachira and Charles Githinji.

Brother-in-law of Elizabeth Wanjira Murage, Jane Ngina Kabiru, Ann Wambui Wachira, Anne Wambui Mugwe, the late Mary Wanjiku Githikiro, Rose Wangui, Grace Waithira, Susan Wanjiru Karanja, Peter Njiri and Paul Njihia. Grandfather of Dylan Maina.

Family and friends are meeting daily at Blue Springs Hotel, Thika Road at 6.00pm and at his Kahawa West and Ihwagi homes.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Funeral Home on 13th December, 2019 at 7.30am. Funeral Mass will start at 10.00am at his Ihwagi home followed by burial at the same place on the same day.
