Francis Onyango Apopa (Jagis)

It is with deep regret and profound sorrow that the Apopa family, announce the untimely death of Francis Onyango Apopa, who until his death was the Senior Finance Officer at the Ministry of Interior and Coordination.

Son of the late Mzee Philip Leo Apopa and Mama Domtila Aduda Apopa of Siaya County, Ugenya Sub-county, Ukwala Location Simur Kondiek Sub-Location. Step-son of the late Marna Martina Aluoch Apopa, the late Mama Pamela Agola Apopa. Mama Rose Adeno Apopa, Mama Philgona Ochola Apopa. Son-in-law of the late Onyango Nyaresi, Perese Onyango, Damiano Otieno and Teresa Otieno.

Husband of Mary Adhiambo Onyango of Ministry of Public Service Youth and Gender (DPSM) and Immaculate Otieno of Kerugoya Girls High School. Father of Ardo Otieno of Kisumu Polytechnic, lmani Leo of Ndere Boys Boarding Primary, Philip Apopa of Mount Lavena, Baraka Ofafa, Damien Obeno of Effort Junior School (Kerugoya) and Tylah Aduda.

The main and final Harambee will be held on Friday 14th September, 2018 at Holy Family Basilica from 5.00pm. Friends, well-wishers and relatives are invited to attend.

Burial will take place on 22nd September 2018 at Kapopa ‘B’ in Ugenya, Ukwala Location, Simur Kondiek Sub-location, Siaya County.
