Francis Wanjau Mwangi

It is with immense sadness we announce the demise of Mr. Francis Wanjau Mwangi of the Kirinyaga County Education office, on Thursday 30th August at Kerugoya DistrIct Hospital after a brief illness.

Son of the Late Benson Mwangi Wanjau arid Rachel Wambui Mwangi of Mukangu Village in Ndia sub-county. Beloved husband of Rose Wanjeru of Jeremiah Nyaga Technical Institute in Mbeere Ernbu County. Father of Ida Wambui (Ringier Kenya). Benson Mwangi of Nyeri Technical and Harriet Wamunyu of Africa Nazarene. The guardian parent of Angella (Silafrica) and Sharon of USA. Loving brother of the late Mary Wanjiku, Jennifer Gichuru Uniaatu Primary School-Kiwi and the late Irene Nyawira. Son in law of the late Harrison Kariuki and a brother in law of the late Kariuki, the late Gichuru and the late Wamai, Njaria, Jacob, Nally, Monica, Lilian, Jesse, Esther and Simon,

Uncle of Ritah, Kui, Joan, Shiku, the late Ivy, the late Sue, the late Skeetah, Joan Wanja, Karimi, Murimi, Rhoda, Maureen, Wangui and many more. Grandfather of Austin, Glen, Shanice, Celine, Avril, Tamara, Terry, Skeetah, Sierra and many more.

The cortege leaves Kibugi Funeral home on Friday 7th August at 9:00am followed by prayers at Mukangu PCEA church. Thereafter he will be laid to rest at his hems in Gichui.

Family and friends are meeting daily for prayers at his residence at Kagio (near grape petrol station) and at his home at Gichui – Mukangu village from 4.00pm.
