It is with profound shock and acceptance of God’s will that we regret to announce the death of Mr. Fred Ochieng’ Oloo.

Beloved husband of Mrs. Marianne Kisanji-Oloo of the State Department of Infrastructure. Loving father of Leonorah Adhiambo Oloo, Samuel Lumumba Ochieng’ and Meshack Mandela Ochieng’. Son of the late Mzee Johanes Oloo Adere and Mama Anna Achieng’ Oloo of Kofware village, Ukwala, Ugenya Constituency, Siaya County. He was the loving brother of Cecilia Josiah, Tom Adere, the late Helena Aluoch Opondo, Cornelia Chumba, the late Teresia Banda, Benedict Oloo, the late Elias Oloo, Camlus Oloo, Vincent Oloo, Moses Oloo, David Oloo, Rita Oloo, Martha Oloo and Eric Oloo. Son-in-law of Mzee Jethro Kisanji Oriedo and the late Mama Lorna Kuleanya Kisanji. Brother-in-law of the late Ezekiel Josiah, the late Adriano Opondo Diang’a, the late James Chumba, Mrs. Peres Adere, the late Jane Oteng’o, Judith Okoth, Doreen Kisanji, Cinderella Oduori, Safan Kisanji, Wycliffe Kisanji among others.

Uncle of the Josiahs, the Aderes, the Diang’as, the Chumbas, the Omondis, the Bandas, the Oteng’os, the Okoths, the Onyango’s, the Otienos, the Owuor’s, the Simiyus, the Jumas, the Wafulas and the Oduoris. Nephew of the late Ouma Adere, Nyajer Oloo, the late Pius Odhiambo, Marcus Owino, Rev.Sr. Ignatius Ogada, (FSJ), Julius Omija, Micheal Apoda and Patricia Olotch among others. Cousin of the Nyajer’s, Odhiambos, Oumas, Wamullas, the Omijas, the Apodas, the Bonyos and the Olotchs among others.

There will be a major fundraising to offset medical bills and cater for funeral expenses at the Jukwa Lounge, Uhuru Park on Wednesday 16th September 2019 from 5.00 pm.

The cortege will leave Mater Hospital Mortuary on Friday 18th October 2019 at 6.00am to Ukwala for an overnight stay. The burial will take place on Saturday 19th October 2019 at Ukwala town, Kasideg Village beginning from 9.00am.
