Fredrick Mwanzia Makindi

It is with profound sadness and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Fredrick Mwanzia Makindi, which occurred on the 3rd of August 2022 after short illness.

He is the Loving husband to Dr. Florence Munanie Makindi (Chairperson, Kitui County Public Service Board). Father to George Makindi (TSC), Victoria Mwikali (France) and Winfred Kavata (France). Doting Grandfather to Annabelle Munanie, Nathaniel Mwanzi, Wavinya, Shujaa and Fred Mwanzi. Loving father in Law to Pascal Grison and Domitillah Kalondu.

Beloved Son to the late Syovata and Daniel Makindi. Son in Law to the late Hellen and Malombe Munyala. Brother to Manzi, Monicah, late Kimeu,Wambua, Kasila, Kinyili, late Mutua and Geoffery. Brother in Law to Muthini, Mami, Late Major Muli, Kaswii, Rev. Kaloki, Masila (USA), Wambua, Mirriam (MSA), Bishop David, Susan, Past. John and Kambua.

Caring and Empathetic Uncle & Cousin to many including the greater Mbaa Ngo, Mbaa Kaloki Nzokolo, Mbaa Muli Musumbi and Mbaa Kitondo clans.

Funeral and fund raising meetings are being held at his home in Kavisi and Parkside Villa Kitui. In Nairobi, meetings are being held at his home in Rubia Estate, Langata.

The main fundraiser will be held on Thursday, 25th August, 2022 in Parkside villa Kitui and his home in Rubia Estate, Langata, Nairobi.

The memorial service will be held at Montezuma Monalisa Chapel on 26th August, 2022 from 2.00pm to 5.00pm.

The cortege will leave Montezuma Monalisa Funeral Home on Saturday, 27th August, 2022 at 6.30am for Kitui County where the burial ceremony will be held at his Kavisi/Kyanika home.
