Gabriel Ngugi Karia

It is with deep sorrow and acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of Mr. Gabriel Ngugi Karia on Saturday, 21 April 2018 at The Nairobi Hospital. He was formerly a Board member of the Kenya Animal Genetic Resources Centre (KAGRC).

Beloved son of the late Karla Mukumbu and Esther Ng’endo Karia. Loving husband of Cecilia Wanjiru Ngugi. Caring father of Edwin Karia, Eric Itugi (“Biggie”) and Michael Mukumbu. Brother of Peter Kamau, Jane Wanjiku, the late Michael Mukumbu, the late Teresia Wangari, the late Joseph Mundia, the late Fredrick Waweru, the late Francis Gathambo and the late Joseph Gacheru. A cousin and uncle of many.

Family and friends are meeting daily at his home in Kiambu Ndumberi, at 5 pm to 7 pm and at his rural home in Gatundu North, Mangu, Mitero Kianganga village from 3 pm to 5 pm.

The Cortege leaves K.U. Funeral home on Thursday 17th May 2018 at 9:00am for funeral service and burial at his rural home in Gatundu North, Mangu, Mitero Kianganga, Kiambu County.
