Geoffrey Mwangi Macharia

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on to glory of Geoffrey Mwangi Macharia that occurred on Monday 14th May 2018.

Son of the late James Macharia Chege and the late Nyambura Macharia. Husband of the late Jane Wambui Mwangi. Father of Stanley Macharia, Leonard Maina and Lucy Nyambura (Deputy Principal — Our Lady of Fatuma Kiriko Girls Sec Sch). Father-in-law of Nancy Wambui, Faith Munjiru and Daniel Migwi (Principal Uhuru Kenyatta Sec Sch — Ruiru). Brother of Leah Murugi, Faith Murugi and Teresia Wambui. Grandfather of Vivian, Harriet, Calvin, Winnie, Prudence, Sammy, Denis, Beatrice, Roy, Victor and the late Geoffrey. Uncle of Rosemary, Jane and Geoffrey.

Family and friends are meeting daily at his Muthiria home and Ngoingwa Estate in Thika starting at 6.00p.m for prayers and funeral arrangements.

The cortege will leave Muriranjas’ Hospital Mortuary on Tuesday 22nd May 2018 at 9.00a.m for funeral service at ACK St. Matthews Church Muthiria at 10.00a.m and thereafter burial at his home in Gathambara village, Kaganda location in Murang’a County.
