We regret to announce the death of George Mwangi Gakiavi the Head teacher Rugumu Primary School Embu, which occurred at Karira Mission Hospital Mwea after a short illness.

Son of the late Jason Nderi Mukinyia and Alice Mutitu of Kibugu location Manyatta Division Embu County. Husband of Emily Wawira, Brother of Lilian Njue, the late Jane Thiaka, Stephen Njeru, the late Phil’s Getanguthi, Johnson Mukinyia, Dickson Njathika, Mercy Wawira, the late Paul Kariuki, the late Njeri and Stella Kinyua. Brother-in-law of Samuel Njue, Robinson Thiaka, Erastus, Rose Njeru, Nancy Njathika, Mercy Rwamba, Njura Kithae and George Kinyua. Uncle of Mukami, Andrew, Gatwiiri, Ireri, Mutugi, Kiio, Murangiri, Collins, Manasseh, Edith, Daina, among others. Grandfather of Nicole, Gakenia, Kenzie, Caleb, Ian, Gilian, Joy, Amani, Karani and others.

The cortege leaves Gakwegori Funeral Home for funeral service and burial at the family home in Gicherori village, Kibugu Location, Embu County on 7th June, 2019 at 7.00am.
