It is with profound shock and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the demise of George Mwangi Wanjohi of G M Wanjohi & Co. Advocates -Nanyuki, which occurred on 18th September, 2022 at Nairobi West Hospital. He hailed from Gachika village, Kirichu Sub location, Kiganjo Location in Nyeri County.
Son of Patrick Wanjohi Mathenge and the late Nancy Wamuyu Wanjohi. Brother to Monicah Wanjiru, Charles Mathenge, Lydia Muthoni and Samuel Muturi.
Loving Husband of Evelyn Makena of National Police Service Timau Police Station. Father of Wendy Ntinyari Mwangi, Sheldon Munene Mwangi, Shawn Wanjohi Mwangi and Brook Wamuyu Mwangi.
Son-in-law to Henry Ndumba Mwiricia and Harriet Ndumba. Brother-in-law to Fredrick Mutembei, Tony Gitonga, George Murithi, Edward Kiriinya, Doreen Kawira and Benson Murega. A Cousin, Uncle and friend of many.
Burial preparation meetings are taking place daily at Emess Hotel – Nanyuki from 6.30pm and at his lchuga home in Nanyuki.
Cortege leaves Nanyuki Cottage Funeral Home at . 8.00am on 24th September, 2022 for funeral service at Methodist Church – Nanyuki and thereafter interment will be held at his farm in Kamangura, near Nanyuki Airstrip.

To the family of George Wanjohi.
It sad to hear the passing of a beloved Son, Husband and Father.
This being a sad moment for the family and friends I hope you do find comfort in our beloved God.
However, I would also like to share a comforting message from the Bible that talks about our beloved ones who have fallen asleep in death including our very own George.
[ ] The verse is in Acts 24:15 《 And I have hope toward God, which hope these men also look forward to, that there is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous 》
Have hope that a day is coming when God is going to resurrect our beloved one who have fallen asleep in death including George .
Let’s keep the hope alive as we await to see him in the coming new world.
