It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing on of our beloved retired Mwalimu George Ndiritu Gacanja.

Son of the late Stephano Gacanja and the late Phoebe Wangari. Loving husband of Miliam Anastasia Wagaki. Beloved father of Gacanja Ndiritu, the late Jimmie Ndiritu, Eunice Mutie (U.S.A), Marion Kilbride (U.S.A),Wambugu Nderitu and Joe Ndiritu (U.S.A). Father in love of the late Bernard Mutie, Gerry Cipollini, Charity Nyaguthi and Jamie Nderitu.

Brother of Florence Wamaitha, Priscilla Njeri and the late Wilson Wambugu. Grandfather of Maxwell, Joy, Natalie, Georgina, Vivian, Nyakio, Roy, Zuri, Marie and Zion. Cousin, Brother-in-law and Uncle of many.

Family and friends are meeting daily at his home in Muruguru village, Nyeri county, from 4:00pm for prayers and funeral arrangements.

The cortege leaves outspan Funeral home on Wednesday 12th /09/2018 at 9.00am, for the funeral mass and internment at his farm in Muruguru Village at 11:00am.

 Eternal rest grant on to him and may perpetual light shine upon him.
