George Samuel Githinji

We wish to announce the passing on of George Samuel Githinji on 22nd June 2018 at The Equator Meridian Hospital In Nairobi West after a short illness.

Son of the late Gerard and Gladys Kihiu. Loving husband of Margaret Nyaguthii Githinji. Father of William Ngine (Coaches), Edward Ndirangu (Pott), Caroline Wacera (Doll), Wendy Wangu and the late John Richard Wachira (Sheb). Brother of Njoki Thuo, the late William Wachira, Margaret Munene, Grace Wanjiru, Silas Wangombe, the late Fraciah Wanja, Godfrey Mureithi, Esther Wanjiru, Late Nyambura. Brother in law to the late Thuo, Dishon Munene, the late Njaramba Kangaru, Rebecca Moragwa, Mary Wanjiku, the late Joseph Muthoora. Father in law of Beatrice Ngine, Lucy Kanyi and Fred Omondi. Grandfather of Jessica Nyaguthii, Malaika Muthonu, Ivy Nyaguthii, Josh Githinji, Sasha Ndirangu, Jeremy Githinii, Michelle Ngatia, Gideon Githinji, Martha Githinji, Davante Jeremiah Githinji. He is survived by many nephews and nieces.

Relatives and friends are meeting daily for prayers and funeral arrangements at All Saints Cathedral starting Tuesday 26th — 28th June 2018 from 5-8 pm and Haridge Inn, Nairobi West starting Monday 25th — 28th June 2018 from 5-8 pm and daily at Bill’s (Coaches) residence.

There will be a fundraiser on Wednesday 27th June at 5.00 pm at both venues. Contributions may also be forwarded to Paybill No 543408 .Account Name: George Githinji Funeral Fund.

Funeral Service will be held on 29th June 2018 at St. Michaels Catholic church, Langata at 10am followed by a burial service at the Langata Cemetry at 1.00pm.
