Appreciation

We, the family of the late Geertje Wakuraya Wanjohi, wish to convey our sincere gratitude for the overwhelming support extended to us through prayers, words of comfort and encouragement, presence and financial support during the challenging and sorrowful time of sickness, demise and sendoff of our dear wife, mum, cuucu, sister, in-law and friend.

We appreciate the great care accorded to Wakuraya by doctors, nurses and support staff at Mater Misericordiae and Meridian Equator Hospitals, as well as by the caregivers at home. Special thanks go to the funeral organising committee in Nairobi under the auspices of United Kenya Club and one at Kiriko; priests who concelebrated Mass at St. Paul’s University Chapel led by Fr. Innocent Mayanga, who, with Fr. Peter Kaigwa, also concelebrated Mass at Kiriko led by Fr. Patrick Wainaina of Christ The King Kiangai Parish; St. Paul’s choir, International Ecumenical Movement-Kenya (IEMK), Quiet Day Prayer Group, Community Action on Security and Environment (CASE) and St. Paul’s Prayer Group.

While we would have wished to individually thank everyone who assisted us, we humbly request that you accept this acknowledgement as a sincere expression of our most heartfelt gratitude.
