In acceptance of God’s will we announce the death of Gervasio Mathiu Marete which occurred on 11th April 2019.

Son of the late Marete M’Ngiti and the late Beatrice Kathuguci. Brother of Consolata Ncurubi, late Bernard Kirimi, Stephen Mugambi, Joses Kibiti, late Susana Ncurubi, Margaret Muthoni, Esther Nkuene, late Sebastian Kamundi, Francis Gitonga. Husband of Phyllis Kanugu. Father of Harriet Mbuthu (TSC), Speranza lgoki (KIMC), Lawrence Kimathi (Farmer), Penina Ncugune (Lamu County Govt), Philomena Makena (UN), Elosy Kangai (CABE), Linus Mutugi (Farmer). Father in Law of John Kinyua (Businessman), Ezekiel Maina (formerly of Farmers Choice), Charity Gacheri (Farmer), Michael Chidzao (TUM), Fredrick Ndolia (TPS), Dennis Machoka (Businessman). Grandfather of Ngugi, Kathure, Njiiri, Mwenda, Muriithi, Kathambi, Rita, Betty, Mutuma, Nyiro, Rehema, Mukami, Kendi, Obiero, Murimi, Givan, Wayne, Mwenda, Idan. Great grandfather of Kaimenyi, Makena, Trai, Troi.

Gervasio will be laid to rest at his home in Gakiri Village, Kinoro, lgoji West ward, Meru County.
