It’s with profound sadness that we announce the passing on of the late Gladys Kamendi Mukabi from Rini Njeke village, Lari Location, Kiambu County.

Wife of the late Duncan Mukabi Mahinda and co-wife of the late Sarah Wambui, Late Violet Njoki and Jane Wanjiru. Mother of Wanjiku, Ndegwa, Kanyiri, Wacucu, Njoroge Mukabi (PSC), Githinji (Githurai), Muthoni, Kahuhu and Waithira. Mother in law of Gicimu, Gachie, Gicheha, Njeri, Murugi, Wanjiru, Gaciru and late Simon Mbiu. Step-mother of Ndegwa (Wa Sarah), Kangethe, Prof. Wanjiku Kabira, Muthoni (Mombasa), Njoroge, Wangari, Late Wariara, Nyambura, Muthoni, Late Simon Ndegwa (Kinangop) and Late Wanjiku. Grandmother and late grandmother of many.

Family and Friends are meeting daily from 3pm-4pm at her home in Raini Nijeke village for burial preparation and prayers.

A celebration of Gladys Kamendi’s life and burial will be on Friday 19/06/2020 at her home.
