Appreciation

We the family of the late Gladys Njeri Gakuo, wish to convey our heartfelt gratitude to all our relatives, friends and well-wishers for your prayers, words of encouragement and financial support that you accorded us following the demise of our matriarch, Mama Gladys Njeri Gakuo on 09th May 2021.

Our Appreciation goes to the Clergy of St. Andrews ACK Church, lyego Vicarage under the able leadership of Vicar Pauline Wairimu Kirubi, who visited our home for prayers during the mourning period and presided over the burial ceremony on 18th May, 2021. We also thank the Clergy of St James ACK Buruburu Church in Nairobi who joined us during the funeral ceremony.

Our Appreciation also goes out to retired Bishop Allan Macharia Waithaka who found time to join the Clergy during the burial ceremony and gave us good advice. Not to be forgotten are the St. Andrews ACK Church Mothers’ Union members who accorded our late mother a special send off.

Special thanks go out to Agnes Mukina Kimani and Jane Nyambura Kamau who looked after and cared for our Mother at her home. We also thank all those who assisted in the preparation of our beloved’s final resting place.

We would also like to appreciate the Funeral Organizing Committee in Nairobi, under the very able chairmanship of Mr. J.S. Gathumbi, who assisted us with the funeral and burial arrangements.

Thank you all who generously contributed to the worthy cause and may our Almighty God remember you in your endeavours.

Finally, as it is not possible to thank each and everyone who assisted us individually in whatever way, please accept our sincere thanks and appreciation through this note for your prayers, service and contribution.
