We regret to announce the promotion to glory of Gladys Wambui Thagana, following a short Illness on Friday, 07/05/2021. She hails from Kianyange farm, Gatung’ang’a Sub-location, Gatung’ang’a location, Mathira West Division, Nyeri County.

Daughter of the late Mahinda Njari and the late Flora Kabuthu. Wife of the late Peter Kibutu Thagana. Mother of Jack Kibutu, Anthony Mahinda, John Kararu, David Mahehu, Mary Mwarania, and Joseph Ngunjiri. Sister of Fredrick Ngunjiri, Rose Wanja, Charity Wamaitha, Mercy Wanjiku, the late Alice Ngima, and Margaret Wanjiru.

Sister-in-law of the late John Kararu, Paul Mahehu, James Theuri, Josephine Kanyoria, Wangui Klbutu, Samuel Mwai and Daniel Karuria. Mother-in-law of Caroline, Susan, Steven, Regina and Pauline. Grandmother of Nicole, Simon, Tina, Elvis, Collins, Suzette and Peter (SA), Mercy, Peter, Collins, Joy and Mark Paul.

Family and friends are mooting daily at the family home in Kianyange, Gatung’ang’a, Nyeri from 4:00pm and In Nairobi at John Thagana’s residence In Muthaiga North, Parkside House No. 55, from 6:00pm.

The cortege leaves Mary Immaculate Hospital Mortuary – Mweiga on Friday 14th May, 2021, at 8:00am followed by a church service and burial session from 10:00am at their home in Kianyange, Gatung’ang’a, Mathira West, Nyeri.
