Grace Michere Gichuki

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Mrs. Grace Michere Gichuki which occurred on Friday 31st August, 2018 at PCEA Tumutumu Hospital.

Daughter of the late Andrew Kang’ara and the late Mariam Mumbi. Wife of the late Gichuki Ngaire. Beloved mother of Joyce Wambui (Retired teacher), Mary Wangechi, Johnson Gichuki (Architect Mombasa County), Purity Wamae (Ministry of Agriculture Veterinary) Patrick Maina, Margaret Wanjiru, the late James Muriuki and Cyrus Muriithi. Mother-in-law of Fredrick Maina, Benard Waweru, Charles Wamae (Ministry of Water), Patrick Maina,Clara Mwangi (Mombasa County), Alice Wanjiru, Jane Gatavi (Consolidated Bank Embu), Mercy Kariuko.

Grandmother of Michael, Grace, Eunice, Maina, Joyce, Kenneth, Dennis, Janet, Esther, Polly, Cate, John, Anne, Wambui, Michere and many others. Great Grandmother of Joyce Sr Nyawira Maina. Great-Great Grandmother of Jakes Wanjohi. Dearly loved Cousin, Aunt and a Friend of many.

Friends and family are meeting daily from 4.00pm at her home in Kibirigwi Village, Kiini Location, Kirinyaga County.

The cortege leaves Jamii Funeral Home, Karatina on Friday 7th September, 2018 at 9.30am for the funeral mass at her home here she will be laid to rest.
