Grace Waeni Makau

Born: 09/03/53 – Crossed over: 02/09/19

We are saddened to announce the passing of Grace Waeni Makau, which occurred on the 2nd of September 2019, at her home in Kyawango, Mwala.

She leaves behind her husband Thomas Makau Musyoki and children Anne Muthue Makau, Martin Mutisya Makau and Diana Mumbua Makau and a grandson Reece Muema Mutisya. Her parents were the Late William Mutungi Muange and the Late Esther Wausi Mutungi. Sister of the Late Phillip Mutungi, Late Joe Mutungi, Rhoda Kioko, Late Nick Mutungi, Late Mary Mutungi, Judah Mutungi, Laban Mutungi, Dorcas Senga and Paul Mutungi. Sister-in-law of Agnes Mutungi, Monica Mutungi, the Late Joe Kioko, Jane Mutungi, Christine Mutungi, Robert Senga and Harriet Mutungi, among others. She was a mother in law to Jacinta Muthoni Mutisya. She was a cousin, aunt and friend to many.

Family and friends will be meeting at the Nairobi Baptist Church, Ngong road for funeral arrangements and fundraising on the 6th Sept, the 10th Sept and the 11th Sept 2019 from 5.30pm.

The memorial service will be held at the Nairobi Baptist Church on the 13th of September 2019.

Burial will take place at her home in Kyawango, Mwala on the 14th of September 2019.
