Grace Wanjiru Gicheru

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Grace Wanjiru Gicheru of Gishagi, Kangemi which occurred on 24th January, 2020 of a long borne illness.

Daughter of the late Samuel Gicheru Gathungu, the late Margaret Wairimu Gicheru and Ruth Nduta Gicheru. Loving mother of Mercy Muthoni (GEDA), Dennis Gicheru Wanjiru (CEO WAZITO FC) and Lavine Aringa, Juliet Wairimu (NIT), Grandmother of Shanice Wandia and Nathan Gicheru. Sister of Virginia Wanjeri (Ndakaini), Eunice Sanare (Kilgoris), James Gathungu, Joseph Mwangi (Dundori), Patricia Wangare (Subukia), Charles Chege, Jane Wangui(Kangemi), Hannah Wambui (Kinangop), the late James Mburu (Eldoret), John Maina (Eldoret), Hannah Wanjiru (Ngorika), Nancy Gacheri (SOS) and George Chege (Eldoret). Aunty of Gicheru, Wairimu and many others.

Friends and family are meeting daily from 6pm at ACK St. John’s Church in Kangemi and at YWCA Vera Harley Hall on Nyerere Road.

The cortege will leave Umash funeral home-Mbagathi on Friday 31st January, 2020 at 7:00am for a-funeral service at ACK St. John’s church in Kangemi, thereafter, the burial will be at Lang’ata Cemetery.

Burial will be on Friday 31st January, 2020.
