It is with deep sorrow and acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Grace Wanjiru Gichuki (Manager, Jogimu Enterprises). She hailed from Kariko Village, Chorong’i, Nyeri County.

Wife of Joseph Gichuki Muchemi (Jogimu Enterprise).

Daughter of the late Simon Ndirangu Thumbi and the late Susan Nyawira Ndirangu. Daughter-in-love of the late Muchemi Kinyunye and the late Pauline VVangari Muchemi.

Mother to Victor Muchemi Gichuki (Murang’a University), Pauline Wambui Gichuki (Nairobi), Joy Nyambura Gichuki (Madison Group) and Eunice Njeri Gichuki (Thika). Mother-in-love to Timothy Kamande (Murang’a University) and Grace Wandia (Ministry of Interior). Grandmother to David, Joe, Liam, Elvis, Mitchelle, Ron, Zani and Manuel.

Sister to Philip Mathenge Ndirangu, Angelica Nyaruai Mathenge, Jecinta Muthoni Muthui, Cecilia Wanjiku Mwangi, Joseph Muchiri Ndirangu, Esther Wagaki Kairu and the late Francis Kabai Ndirangu.

Sister-in-love to Teresia Nyanjau Wachira, Peter Mbai Muchemi, Gilbert Kanyeki Muchemi, Teresia Wanjiku Mureithi, the late Robert Maina Muchemi, the late Priscilla Njeri Kariuki, the late Alice Wanjiku Wanjohi, the late Zipporah Njeri Kanyeki and the late Alifonza Nyamachohi Wachira.

Family and friends are meeting daily at her home in Giaichamwenge, Giakanja for prayers and funeral arrangements.

The cortege leaves Nyeri Funeral Home – Outspan on Tuesday, 6th June, 2023 at 8:00am, for a funeral service to be held from 11:00am at Kariko, Chorong’i and her interment thereafter.
