Guka Stephen Ngatia Kabari

It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Mzee Stephen Ngatia Kabari which occurred on Thursday 15th November 2018. He hailed from Kiamabara, Konyu Location, Mathira Sub-County, Nyeri County.

Son of the late Kabari Kiagu and the late Wanjiru Kiagu. Loving husband of Pauline Wangechi Ngatia. Father of Peter Maina Ngatia, Eng. Samuel Kabari Ngatia of Beta Engineering, Nancy Wairimu Maina, Jane Gathigia Ole Mapei, John Kanyoro, Lucy Wambura Ichau, Margaret Wamuyu Mwangi, Charles Kamau and Anthony Wanjohi. Father-in-law of Wanjiru Maina, Veronica Kabari, the late James Maina, the late Kintalel Ole Mapei, Beatrice Kanyoro, Peter Ichau, Charles Mwangi, Wambui Kamau and Wambui Wanjohi. Grandfather and Great-grandfather of many.

Family and friends are meeting at All Saints Cathedral in Nairobi on Tuesday 20th and Wednesday 2Ist November 2018 at 5.30pm and daily at his home at Igutha Kiamabara for prayers and funeral arrangements.

The cortege will leave Jamii Hospital, Karatina on Friday 23rd November 2018 at 9.00am followed by a funeral service at Gathugu Catholic Church at 10.00am and ‘burial thereafter at his home in Igutha.
