Hansaben Anant J. Pandya

(1927-2019)

It is with deep sorrow; we announce the death of Mrs. Hansaben Anant Pandya.She was the wife to the Late Honourable Anant J. Pandya, Kenya Member of Parliament (1956-1969).

Born August 25th 1927, she was the mother of Aparna (Apu), Arati and Amit and mother-in-law to Ashvin Gulabchand Dhanani, John Temple and Cecilia Munoz. She is survived by her grandchildren Sumeet & Louise, Koonti & Ankush, Cristina and Meera and great grandchildren Ishani, Ethan and Siddharth.

She was the matriarch of the Pandya Family who under the Late J.B Pandya were pioneers in business, newspapers (Daily Mail) and Kenyan politics. The family was recognised by the formation of Pandya Memorial Society which built the Pandya Memorial Hospital.

The funeral ceremony will be held on Tuesday, 23rd July 2019 at the Darshan North Chapel at 10.00am and Funeral South Chapel at 10.30am.Thereafter, a final farewell at the Hendon Crematorium, Holders Hill Road, Mill Hill, London NW7 1NB.
