Harriet Karimi Mwai

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Harriet Karimi. Wife of Moses Mwai Mwangi (formerly of NIS Makueni).

Daughter of the late Mutogia M’Ikunyua and the late Martha Kiiru M’Ikunyua of Gikumene. Ntakira, Meru. Daughter-in-law of the late Benson Mwangi Mugweru and the late Grace Wanjiru Mwangi of Ngorano village Mathira West, Nyeri. Mother of Carol Mwai (Kakamega), Diana Kirigo (St. Pauls University), Mercy Muthoni (Pride Centre) and Maureen Wanjiru (USIU). Sister of Evangeline, the late Mutwiri, Maitethia, the late Muthuiya, Muriira, Mwiti, Kigetu and George. Auntie of many.

Burial preparations are being held at Esstana Hotel (PIAI) and at her home in Karuangi village, Mugamba Ciura Sub-location, Murinduko location, Mwea East Division.

There will be a fundraiser at Esstana Hotel on Friday 20th July 2018 to offset a hospital bill.

The cortege leaves Gakwegori Funeral Home on Tuesday 24th July 2018 at 8.30am. Funeral service will be held at PCEA Embu Town Church (Majengo) followed by burial at her home in Karuangi (PIAI) thereafter.
