It is with profound sadness and sorrow that we announce the untimely demise of Harrison Ogweno Okeche of Standard Chartered Bank Nairobi and an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya on the 10th October, 2020 following a tragic road accident that occurred on 4th October 2020 along Bomet-Narok road. He was the patron of Kanjira Development Society (KADESO).

Son of the late Charles Okeche and Truphosa Okeche. Loving husband to Dr. Pia Okeche of Kisii University. Caring father to Lucy, Jude and Titus. Loving brother to the late David, late George, late James, Teresa, late Joyce, Mary and Flora. Brother-in-law to the late Nicholas, Enoch, Sylvester, Vincent Derrick, Junior, Sheila and Maryanne. Grandfather to Milan, Hera and Flawi.

Friends and relatives are meeting at his Nairobi Residence on Rose Avenue, where a Mini-Harambee will be held on Saturday 17th of October from 3pm.

The Main Harambee shall be held at Holy Family Basilica on the 20th October 2020 at 2.00 pm.

The Requim Mass will be held at Holy Family Basilica on the 21st October 2020 at 10.00 am. Burial will be held on 23rd October 2020 in Aluga village in Kochola sub-location, Kanjira Location, Kanchuonyo constituency in Homabay county.

    May brother Harrison rest in eternal peace. Any of the organizers can reach me on 0729817787. Mr Harrison was a member of KCCB, Council for economic affairs and our Chairman, Bishop Wanaina would like to visit the family on Tuesday 20th to pass message of condolence

    Rest in peace Mr. Okeche. I worked with Mr Okeche at FKE in training on new labour laws. He was very instrumental in developing most of the initial training presentations. I pray to God to give the family strength at this trying time and provide for all their needs

    I have worked with Harry, but i have lost a father, mentor, and a Boss who would always and whenever remind me on importance of Education, May God rest him in peace.
