Harun Gachie Minjire

It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the calling home of our dear father Harun Gachie Minjire on 5th November 2018.

Son of the late Minjire Waweru and the late Teresiah Wangechi. Beloved husband of the late Eunice Wanjiru Gachie. Loving father of Esther Wangechi, the late John Minjire, James Mahianyu, David Macharia, Margaret Wambui, Marion Nyambura, Maina Watai, Nancy Wangari, Irene Wakagongo, Mary Wairimu, Miriam Waruguru, Benjamin Mbaro and Monica Wangui. Father-in-law of Mercy Wangui, Monica Gachambi, Maina Chui, Simon Njogu, Grace Mumbi, Peter, Amin Mohammed and Rhoda Wanjiru. Brother of the late Macharia and the late Wamugo. Step brother of late Wanjugu, the late Nyambura, the late Wangui, the late Waruguru and late Karuku. Brother-in-law of the late Maina, Wangari, Mbaro, Gakari and Wanjiku all of Kinu village, Chinga Othaya, Nyeri County. Uncle, grandfather and great grandfather of many.

Friends and relatives will meet at Sandton Palace Hotel along Taveta Road (Kilimanjaro hall) on Thursday 8th November and Friday 9th November from 5:30pm — 8:00pm.

The cottage leaves Umash Funeral home on Saturday 10th November 2018 at 7:00 am followed by funeral service at Kiinu ACK Church in Chinga South Location, Othaya subcounty, Nyeri County and burial thereafter at his home Ruthiruini, Kariko village, Othaya.
