Harun Kamunye Njiiri

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of our beloved Harun Kamunye Njiiri, community leader at PEFA – Githunguri Ranching, Ruiru and Gathiru-ini, Komothai Location, Kiambu County.

Son of the Late Pharis Njiiri Kamunye and the late Leah Gathoni. Husband to the late Grace Njeri and Hannah Wambui. Brother to Martha Wangui & the late Moses Kiarie, Esteri Wanjiru & late Sammuel Githiomi, James Macharia Njiiri & Beatrice Nyambura, Gladys Wanjiku & Francis Mukuria, Lucy Muthoni & the late Daniel Mburu, the late John Mwaura Njiiri & Hannah Njeri and Gideon Gitau Njiiri & Josephine Wanjiru.

Father to Herman & Lucy Kamunye Ndungu, the late Gerald & the late Lucy Wanjiru Mugo and Irene Gathoni Kamunye (UK). Grandfather of Michael & Joan Gaitho, Andrew Kamunye, Grace Njeri, the late Kenneth Kamunye, Tracy Gathoni, David Wanyoike & Evah Wacera and Graci Ndungu. Great-grandfather to Jabali, Jeremy, Ethan and Elaina.

Family and friends are meeting daily at his home in PEFA – Githunguri Ranching, Ruiru, Kiambu County and Gathiru-ini, Komothai, Githungui Sub-county for prayers and burial arrangements.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta Memorial Funeral Home (KU Referral) at 8.00am on Friday 26/08/2022 for memorial service and burial at his home at Gathiru-ini, Komothai Location, Githunguri Sub-county.
