Hon. EGH John Kamau Murigu

It is with deep sorrow we announce the demise of Hon. EGH John Kamau Murigu (former Chairman – Nakuru County Council). He was awarded a certificate of recognition (Mashujaa) by the president on 20th October 2019.

He was the former chairman of Nakuru County Council and inspiring business leader, mentor, philanthropist and an entrepreneur.

He was the son of the late Joseph Mwaura Murigu and Eunice Wanjiru. Beloved husband to Flomena Murigu, Lucy Murigu, Mary Murigu and Salome Murigu.

He was father to Susan Murigu, Antony Murigu (USA), Salome Kinyatti and Antony Murigu among others. Brother to Hannah Mukuhi and the late Jacinta Njeri.

Brother-in-law to Francis Murage Karanja Marigi, Joseph Njoroge and George Nganga. Uncle to George Maina and Kenneth Mwaura among others.

Meetings are being held at his residence in Mai-Mahiu and Ruiru home.

The cortege leaves M.P. Shah Mortuary on Thursday, 16th July 2020 at 7.00am for funeral service and burial at his farm in Mai-Mahiu Town from 11.00am.
