The late Dr. Momanyi was a key player in the renaissance of Bonchari, Gusii, and Kenya as a whole given his academic accomplishments at the time our country was under the British rule. He overcame all the odds and became an intellectual figure in the country. Some of us were inspired by his stellar accomplishments academically and politically.

It is unfortunate that some of us would not be able to pay our last respects personally due to COVID-19 that has paralyzed every sector including international transportation and economy among others. I live and work in the States. I will make an effort to come and condole with the family when circumstances permit soon.

Dr. Momanyi will be dearly missed by all who knew him and those of us who did know him because of our age at the time we were in the country.
    RIP Doctor Momanyi

Please accept the Nyaanga’s heartfelt condolences during this very difficult time in your family. May God give you the strength and hope that one day, we shall join the departed including Dr. Momanyi.

    Sincerely,
    Dr. Solomon Nyaanga
