Hon. Gunga Mwinga Chea, Kaloleni MP (2013-2017)

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will we announce the death on 27th December 2020 at Mombasa Hospital of Honourable Gunga Mwinga Chea, Former MP – Kaloleni Constituency 2013 – 2017, Advocate of the High Court of Kenya and practicing in the name and style of Gunga & Company Advocates.

Beloved son of Mzee Kalume Chea aka Philip Tako and Racheal Mwenda Kalume aka Hawe Kaingu.

Husband of Brenda Nanjala of KRA Mombasa.

Father of Frank Thoya Mwinga (Kakamega High), Ezra Gunga and Victoria Mwenda (Fairfield Academy, Kiembeni).

Brother of Gunga Baya (Area Chief Chanagande Location), Ndurya Gunga (Bursar-Ribe Boys), Evans Ndoro (County Assembly Kilifi), Betty Gunga, Kelvin Zia (Dalbit Petroleum Limited) and Hamisi Gunga.

Son-in-law of George Simiyu, Concepts Simiyu and Ruth Simiyu of Bungoma.

An uncle,cousin and friend to many.

Friends and Relatives are meeting every day at ACK Cathedral Mombasa from 4.30 pm and at his home in Chalani, Kaloleni, from 2.00 pm for prayers and burial arrangements.

A funds drive will be field on Wednesday 6th January 2021 at 2.00pm in Kaloleni.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday 7th January, 2021 , from 2.00pm at ACK Memorial Cathedral, Mombasa.

The cortege leaves Pandya Memorial Hospital for burial on 9th January, 2021, at his home in Chalani, Kaloleni.
