is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of Hon. Joel Muruthi Mureithi, who went to be with the Lord on 29th November, 2025.
Hon. Muruthi Mureithi was born on 21st December, 1949 in Karuna-ini, Kimathi Location,Tetu area of Nyeri County to Barton Mureithi Wanjau and Eunice Nyaguthii Mureithi. He was the older brother of Mercy Wanjugu Kamau, Peter Maina, the late Priscilla Wangari, and the late Susan Wambut.
He was the beloved husband of Rose Mumbi, and a devoted father of Brenda Wairima, Barton Gitonga, and Lynda Wangui. He was a cherished uncle of his nieces and nephews, and a treasured friend of many.
Hon. Muruthi Mureithi leaves behind a legacy of service, love, and dedication that will Continue to inspire all who knew him.
A Memorial Service will be held at PCEA St. Andrew’s Church from 10:00am on Wednesday, 10th December 2025.
Funeral Service will take place at PCEA lmani Church, King’ong’o, Nyeri County from 10:00am on Thursday, 11th December 2025.
