Hon. Othiniel John Mnene

It is with great sorrow that we announce the death of Hon. Othiniel John Mnene. Former Member of Parliament for Taveta Constituency.

Son of the late John Richard Mnene and Priscilla Mishi Mnene. Beloved husband of the late Clemency Shighadi Mnene. Father of Alfred Meretoy Mnene.

Brother of Samuel J. Mnene, Shadrack S. Mnene, Gideon Mnene, Hellina Mnene (all late) and Clemency Nangondo Mnene. Son-in-law to the late Mr. and Mrs. Jeremiah Kiungu and brother in-law to Boniface Mwakio.

Uncle to Matano Kodawa, Mzee Samuel, John Nzuvu, John Mnene, Pauline Mangereza, Imma Mnene, Saidi Mnene, late Mishi Mnene, Kanjee Mnene among others. Grandfather of the late 0.J Junior, Gideon Ngure, Dr. Sheila Ngure, Mandela Silas, Shady Mnene and many others.

He will be laid to rest on Saturday, 6th July 2019 at the ACK cemetery Taveta.

Dearly missed by family and friends.
