Appreciation

We the family of the departed Hon. Peter Kiiru Chomba M.C.A of Huruma Ward, Uasin Gishu county, would like to sincerely express ourgratitude for the incredible kindness and support accorded to us during the funeral arrangements and subsequent interment two weeks ago.

We would especially like to thank the President of the Republic of Kenya Hon. Uhuru Kenyatta, Deputy President Dr.William Ruto, the County Government of Uasin Gishu both Executive and Assembly led by Governor Jackson K. Mandago, Speaker of Uasin Gishu County Assembly David Kiplagat and all those below them MCAs, CECs, COs and workers of both arms of Uasin Gishu County Government, Governor Lee Kinyanjui of Nakuru County, Hon. Oscar Sudi MP Kapseret, Hon. Caleb Kositany MP Soi, Hon Janet Sitienei MP Turbo, Hon, Prof Margaret Kamar Deputy Speaker of the Senate, Hon. Gladys Boss Sholei Woman Rep. Uasin Gishu County, Hon. William Chepkut MP Ainabkoi, Hon, Zedekiah Kiptoo Bundotich (BUZEKI)., Hon. Samora, Kevin, Okwara.

We appreciate the various committees formed during the mourning period in order to accord our hero a befitting send-off led by Charles Kariuki of Paul’s Bakery- Eldoret, Uasin Gishu Business community committee led by Mr. Zakayo, the great people of Huruma Ward, friends from within and outside Uasin Gishu County. We cannot forget the outstanding co-ordination by Hon. Francis Muya Mwangi, MCA Langas Ward, Uasin Gishu County, who was able to manage co-ordinating all the above-mentioned groups. To “Team Chomba”, security team of which was led by the youths and dedicated team of ushers from all quarters of our business community, we cannot emphasize our gratitude as you ensured that the funeral was well secured as well as MoH adherence to Covid-19 rules and regulations.

To Ruth Muya, our Eldoret Family, online co-ordination, and treasurer, we have no words other than thank you, thank you and may God bless you abundantly. We cannot forget the immense support from; Bishop Mike Bittok of Now Family Church, Pastor Kamau, Pastor Karanja and all other pastors for the prayers, emotional & financial support during the grieving period. We would also like to extend our appreciation to Sonik Caterers, Corporate Events, Raiply- Eldoret for your generosity in granting use of Huruma grounds & Delight funeral Service for all the assistance they offered to us during the funeral. To all our family and friends who called, visited, sent messages of condolences to comfort us as at undoubtedly what has been an exceedingly difficult chapter in our lives.

Since we are not able to individually reach all those who came out to stand with us and demonstrate their love for Hon. Peter Kiiru Chomba, MCA Huruma Ward, we hereby post this piece to express our appreciation of your support that enabled us give Mhesh a befitting send-off, May God handsomely bless you. We are extremely grateful as a family. We are overwhelmed by your love for Mheshimiwa.
