Hon. Zephaniah Kipkebut Chepkong’a (Akwele)

We are deeply saddened to announce the passing on of our dear dad Hon. Mzee Zephaniah Kipkebut Chepkong’a which occurred on Friday 5th October 2018 at Mediheal Hospital  – Nakuru, after a long illness.

Son of the late Chief Akwele Chepkong’a Yatich and the late Kobilo Chepkong’a and the late Kabon Chepkong’a. Brother of the late Naftali Chepkong’a and Japheth Chepkong’a. Beloved Husband of Mrs. Grace Kabon Chepkong’a and Mrs. Grace Kobilo Kipkebut. Father of Steve Kiprop, Jane Sumukwo, Alice Njoroge, Hillary Yatich, Pamela Limo, Renison Kibet, Carolyne Jebichii, Judy Ombeva, Florence Cheserek, Frank Chemjor, Jeremiah Rerimoi, Emmy Toroitich, Irene Chepkong’a, Shirley Kibet, Gladys Wahome, Eng. Tony Kipkoech and Evans Kipkulei. Father in-law of James Kiprotich Kiplimo, Zachariah Njoroge, the late Paulo Sumukwo, Tony Ombeva, Zachariah Cheserek, Robert Toroitich, Eng. Kibet “VP Chepkwony, Lincoln Wahome, Margaret Kiprop, Dr. Winnie Yatich, Chepkemoi Kibet, Euginia Chemjor and Doreen Rerimoi. Uncle and cousin of many. He leaves behind 50 Hon. Zephaniah grandchildren and 12 great grand children.

Friends and family are meeting daily for funeral arrangements from 5.00pm at his home in Ossen Village-Eldoret Hotel, Bontana Hotel Nakuru and Paradise Hotel-Kabarnet from 5:00pm.

A funds drive will be held at Bontana Hotel – Nakuru to offset funeral expenses on Friday 19th Oct 2018 and Paradise hotel Kabarnet on 22nd Oct 2018 from 5.00pm.

Cortege leaves PNN funeral home at 6.00am on Saturday 27th October 2018 for funeral service and burial at his home  in Ossen, village Baringo County.

 Those we love don’t go away, they walk beside us every day…unseen, unheard, but always near. Still loved, forever missed and very dear.
