Son of the late Kimunya Gituto and Charity Wakuraya. Step-son of Wagitari and Wamuyu Kimunya.

Husband of Lucy Wanjiru. Son-in-law of the late Mwai Kabeu and the late Susannah Gatundu.

Father of the late Clara Gathigia, Susan Wambui, Claudia Njeri and Clara Wakuraya. Father-in-law of Maurice Ochieng’.

Grandfather of Xavi Gakuru. Brother of Shero, the late Mumbi, Zipporah, the late Ngima, Gathigia. Step-brother of the late Ngatia, the late George, the late Gikandi, Rachel, Zipporah,Wambui, Gituto, Kinyua, Machira, Mumbi, among others.

Brother-in-law of Kabeu Mwai, Ngima, late Priscilla, Mary, Njoki,Wambui,Wamaitha, Muthoni and Kinyua.

Family and friends are meeting daily at Hotel Waterbuck and his Mwariki home for prayers.

The cortege will leave Umash Funeral Home, Nakuru, on 23/12/2020 at 6.00am for burial at Giakaibei village, Mathira, Nyeri.
