Humphrey Mburu Henya

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of our beloved dad and grandfather Senior- Humphrey Mburu Henya after a long illness bravely borne. Humphrey was born in April 1948 at Ruthigiti area, Kikuyu sub-county, Kikuyu County.

Son of the late Bartholomew Henya and the !ate Pauline Waithira. Brother of the late Lawrence Waiganjo Henya, Lydia Wambui Henya, the late Naomi Nduta Henya, Irene Njeri Henya, Stephen Kimani Henya, Eutychus Matthew Henya, and Freshia Njeri Henya.

Husband of Josephine Wanjiru Mburu, their five children namely: Bart Henya Mbruru, Kenneth Kamumbu Mburu, Pauline Waithira Mburu, Lawrence Waiganjo Mburu and Lillian Njeri Mburu. Father-in-law to: the late Leah Wangechi Gathogo and Esther Wairimu Macharia and his grandchildren; Brina, Brannon, Alexis, Carmen, Jason and Nathan.

Family and friends are meeting daily at his home in Gachui, Mukiriti in Dagoretti South Constituency.

The cortege leaves PCEA Kikuyu Hospital Motuary at 8:00 am on Friday 2nd September 2022. Prayers and Service will be at PCEA Githima Church thereafter he will be laid to rest at his farm in Gikambura opposite Rubis Petrol Station.

The Lord giveth and the Lord taketh away What can we say? We thank God for such a wonderful and precious gift of life. It was a great honor to share life with Humphrey.
