It is with profound sadness and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the sudden death of our son Ian Lomo Onyimbo of Teachers Service Commission, which occurred on 23/02/2023, while receiving treatment at Metropolitan Hospital – Nairobi. He hailed from Kisumu County, Muhoroni Sub-county, Tamu Location, East Songor Sub-location, Odiyo Wang’e Village.

Beloved son to the late Professor Peter Onyimbo Lomo and Mrs. Adah Onyimbo Lomo (Tumaini Primary School). Brother to Faith Onyimbo (TSC), Brenda Fozah Onyimbo (Brenda and Brenda Advocates), Ben Odero Onyimbo, Sonia Lomo Onyimbo, Daisy Lydiah Onyimbo and Sharon Awuor Lomo.

Nephew to Pastor William Otieno, Richard Oluoch, the late Hellen Lomo, Rose Lomo (Rapogi Girls), Isaac Otieno (Kibos Sugar), John Opiyo, Charles Abungu (USA), Prof. Hezbon Abungu, Clerkson Abungu, Erick Abungu, Richard Abungu, Fred Owili and Morris Muga.

Uncle to Pete Graysen Lomo, Bella Atieno and Pete Lomo Odero.

Family and friends are meeting daily at their home in Harambee Sacco Estate- Donholm.

The Fundraising will be held on 11/03/2023.

The cortege leaves Chiromo Mortuary on Thursday, 16/03/2023 for Donholm Harambee Sacco Estate for service and prayers. Thereafter, the cortege will proceed to Kisumu County on Friday, 17/03/2023 on where he will be laid to rest on Saturday, 18/03/2023 at their home in East Songor Sub-location, Odiyo Wang’e Village.
