Immaculate Mwende Mutua

It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Miss Immaculate Mwende Mutua on 30th June 2018 at Kenyatta National Hospital after a long illness bravely borne.

Beloved daughter of Mr. Nial Mutua Makumi and Mrs. Fellsta Kalondu Mutua. Doting & Loving mother of Kennedy Makumi (Machakos School) and Catherine Kalondu (Christopher Kiamba Memorial School). Beloved sister of Brian Muoti, Joseph Nzioka, John Yumbya, Patrick Makumi and Peter Kinywa. Granddaughter of the late John Makumi, the late Anna Makumi, the late Nzioka Kinywa, the late Lucia Mueke. Niece of the late Margaret Mutonye, the late Dr Henry Makumi, the late Lucy Kilonzi, Gregory Makumi, the late Aurelia Mumbua, the late Norman Mutinda, the late Benedeta Mutua, Fransicah Musili, Charles Nzioka among many others. Cousin and aunty of many.

Family and friends are meeting daily for funeral arrangements at Garden Square, Nairobi from 5.30pm.

There will be a fundraiser on Wednesday 11th July 2018 at Cardinal Otunga Plaza (Holy Family Basilica), Nairobi from 5.30pm, towards offsetting the substantial Hospital bill. Well washers are requested to support the family through the Mpesa paybill no. 938358, Account: Mwende.

The cortege leaves Montezuma Funeral Home on 14th July 2018 at 5 00am for Kathekani Village, Mtito Andei Ward, Makueni County for a funeral service and thereafter burial.
